Privacy Policy Details

Brand Shop Eco Style (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) asks customers to provide information necessary for transactions and communication when using our services, such as name, address, telephone number, and email address. The Company handles personal information in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The Company uses the personal information it acquires for the following purposes:

1) To ship products to customers and bill for payment

2) To provide customers with information about campaigns, products, and services offered by our Yahoo! Shopping store or Yahoo Japan Corporation

3) To improve our services

4) To respond to customer requests and inquiries

In addition, information such as the customer’s name, address, ordered product name, and order quantity (hereinafter referred to as “Order Information”) is also acquired by Yahoo Japan Corporation at the time of order and is handled in accordance with the privacy policy established by Yahoo Japan Corporation.

2. Management of Personal Information
The Company manages personal information under the following system:

1) We establish the necessary internal systems in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related guidelines, and obtain written pledges from employees to handle personal information appropriately.

2) Access to personal information is limited to employees who require it for business purposes, and we establish rules regarding the storage and management of media containing personal information and take measures to protect such information.

3) With respect to personal information stored in our systems, we assign accounts and passwords so that only employees who require access for business purposes may use it, and we implement access control. Accounts and passwords are strictly managed to prevent leakage or loss.

4) For the security of data transmission involving personal information over the Internet, we use SSL, the industry-standard encrypted communication technology, on necessary web pages.

5) Provided that doing so does not interfere with our services, personal information will be deleted as appropriate after a certain period has elapsed from the time of receipt.

3. Provision to Third Parties

1) In order to refuse service to persons who place orders for fraudulent purposes, the Company provides Yahoo Japan Corporation with Order Information relating to transactions that the Company determines to have been made for fraudulent purposes.

2) Except for the case stated in the preceding paragraph, the Company does not disclose personal information to third parties without the customer’s consent. However, this does not apply in the following cases:

- When requested by a court, police, or other public authority based on laws and regulations
- When there is a specific provision under laws and regulations
- When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, or property of the customer or a third party and obtaining the customer’s consent is difficult
- When it is necessary to protect or defend the rights, property, or services of the Company from actions that violate laws, regulations, or the Company’s terms of use and notices, and obtaining the customer’s consent is difficult

4. Disclosure of Personal Information
If a customer requests disclosure of personal information, the Company will disclose such information only when the customer’s identity can be confirmed.

Note: Method of identity verification
Please send to the Company a copy of a document that can verify your identity (such as a driver’s license or health insurance card).
After confirming the contents and verifying that the request is made by the customer本人, we will proceed with the disclosure.
